Hi @Ward5022,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

For your HP OfficeJet Pro 9025, the PIN is typically used to ensure security when accessing certain printer features. Here are steps to locate the PIN or to bypass it if necessary.

Check the Printer Label:

  • Look on the back or bottom of the printer or inside the ink cartridge compartment. Sometimes, the PIN is printed alongside other network or access information.

HP Smart App:

  • If you're using the HP Smart app on your computer or mobile device, try connecting to your printer through the app. The app may display a prompt for any required PIN and may even allow you to bypass it after initial setup.

Access the Embedded Web Server (EWS):

  • If you’re connected to the same network as your printer, open a web browser on your computer.
  • Type in your printer's IP address in the address bar (you can find this on your printer's control panel under network settings).
  • Log into the EWS with your credentials, and navigate to the "Settings" or "Security" section to see if there's an option to reset or disable the PIN requirement.

Printer Control Panel:

  • On the printer control panel, go to Settings > Security > PIN or Access Control. Here, you might be able to view or reset the PIN.

If you're unable to locate the PIN with these steps, you can also try performing a factory reset (note this will reset all settings).

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
