I recently purchased a DeskJet4100e printer.  Trying to set it up, I got as far as printing a test page, and then it went into 

error state E0, with a blinking red light.  I have taken the ink cartridges out and reset them, and then I replaced them both but still in error.  I have unplugged the cord, both from the printer and from the power source for a suggested time.  But when I turn the printer back on, it is still in error state
