Hi @umitaka,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I understand that you are facing connectivity issues. I’d like to help!
Make sure, your printer and your device are on the same network as 2.4GHZ only.
If you're having trouble setting up your HP DeskJet 4155e All-in-One Printer on a new Wi-Fi network and are getting a "driver not available" error, here’s how you can resolve the issue:
Step 1: Remove Previous Printer Installation
Uninstall Old Printer Drivers:
- Open Control Panel > Programs and Features.
- Find any existing HP printer software related to your DeskJet 4155e and uninstall it.
Remove Printer from Devices:
- Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners.
- Find your HP DeskJet 4155e in the list, select it, and click Remove device.
Step 2: Download and Install the Latest Drivers
Download the Latest Drivers:
- Visit the HP Support website and search for your HP DeskJet 4155e printer model.
- Download the latest Full Feature Software and Drivers for your operating system.
Install the Drivers:
- Run the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions to install the drivers.
- During the installation, select Wireless as the connection type.
Step 3: Connect the Printer to the New Wi-Fi Network
Reset the Printer's Network Settings:
- On the printer, press and hold the Wireless and Cancel buttons until the Power button starts flashing, then release the buttons. This resets the network settings.
Use HP Smart App:
- Download and install the HP Smart app from the Microsoft Store or from the HP Support page.
- Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to add your printer.
- The app will guide you through connecting the printer to your new Wi-Fi network.
Use WPS (if applicable):
- If your router supports WPS, press the WPS button on your router.
- Then, press and hold the Wireless button on the printer for about 5 seconds or until the wireless light starts blinking.
- The printer should automatically connect to the Wi-Fi network.
Please find the remaining steps in the next post.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance

Hi @umitaka,
Please find the next steps below.
Step 4: Check Windows for Updates
- Update Windows:
- Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update.
- Check for updates and install any that are available, especially any that are related to printer drivers.
Step 5: Try Adding the Printer Manually
Add Printer via Devices & Printers:
- Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners.
- Click Add a printer or scanner and let Windows search for your printer.
- If the printer is found, select it and complete the setup.
Use the IP Address:
- If the printer isn't found, click The printer that I want isn’t listed.
- Choose Add a printer using a TCP/IP address or hostname.
- Enter the printer’s IP address (you can find this on the printer’s display or through the HP Smart app).
- Follow the prompts to add the printer.
Step 6: Troubleshoot Using HP Print and Scan Doctor
- Download and Run HP Print and Scan Doctor:
- Visit the HP Print and Scan Doctor page and download the tool.
- Run the tool to diagnose and fix any printer issues.
Step 7: Restart the Print Spooler Service
- Restart the Print Spooler:
- Press Windows + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.
- Scroll down and find Print Spooler.
- Right-click on Print Spooler and select Restart.
After following these steps, your HP DeskJet 4155e should be connected to the new Wi-Fi network, and the "driver not available" issue should be resolved. If you still encounter issues, consider reaching out to HP Phone Support for further assistance.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance
