Hi!
WHY shouldn't I turn off the printer when it's no longer needed?
In Germany, SAVING ELECTRICITY is essential!?

You can why not? If not used turn it OFF to save electricity.

This ENVY6032e has NO "legal" OFF button.

The operating instructions also say several times that you should never switch off the printer it should always be connected to the internet! Now I discovered a very hidden OFF button at the very bottom, centered on the back, only the size of half a PENNY piece, and the same shade of color as the printer body. So it shows everywhere that you should NOT switch off the printer. SO my question: WHY NOT ?!

It has an ON/OFF button placed on the back side, you don't have to discover anything it's explained with pictures in the user manual, read it. You can turn OFF the printer when not using it.
