Maybe someone can help me. I have two HP printers, one in each of my offices. I have one laptop I use at both offices, Every time I switch offices, I waste half a day getting something to print or scan. I use to simply delete the printer and then reinstall the "new" one at the office I was at. Now that only works some of the time. I refuse to schlep a printer from one office to another. Isn't there an easy way to print on two different printers with the same laptop?

@Dryway
Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

  • Which printer is causing an issue?
  • Have you tried the HP smart app

While you respond to that, let's try this workaround.

  • Step 1: Make sure your computer and printer are connected to your home network
  • Step 2: Uninstall the in-OS print driver
  • Step 3: Download and install the printer software
  • Step 4: Update the printer firmware (if available)
    Click here: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c03502061 to complete the troubleshooting steps ( the document might say windows 8 however the steps are same for windows 10 )

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
