HP Ink Tank Wireless 419
macOS 12.0 Monterey

I have a pdf file I need to print in Booklet Style on my HP Inktank 419 series printer.
I had no problem doing this on my Windows laptop earlier, however, as I have shifted to Macbook recently, I am noticing the feature of TWO SIDED PRINTING greyed out, after I choose LAYOUT Option.
Can someone please help me on this?

Hi @chetandhowan,

Welcome to the HP Support Community

I understand you need help using duplex print option on your HP InkTank 419 printer. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.

You have to change the settings on your Mac PC. Please follow the below steps:

  • Open a document which you would like to print
  • Click on File and select print or press ⌘ + P

  • You will see the print dialog box

  • Now click on the dropdown icon and make sure you select your printer ( if selected ignore this step)
  • NOTE: The Print window might be minimized. Click the Show Details button to see all available settings.
  • Make sure you check the Two-Sided option and select black and white as default as per your requirement

  • You may save the settings as a preset by clicking Presets > Save Current Settings as Preset
  • By doing so and completing the print job these settings will remain default till another preset will be used in the future.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
