HP LaserJet Pro MFP M225dw
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

The same printer shows twice in the printer/scan MS display.  One name shows in the HP Smart display, and another name is connected to the printing only. I need only one mane for this printer displays in both places. The printer name should be NP13666FA HP laserjet pro-MFP M225DW; this name is connected to printing. If I delete the other name in the Printer/scan display? Thanks.

@Czech1918, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

To assist you better, are you referring to the names on the printer screen?

Or, is it on the computer that you see 2 entries of the same printer with different names?

Kindly send a picture of the issue in your next post.

Run HP Print and Scan Doctor to diagnose and fix any driver issue

Click here to download the file. Once downloaded, make sure to run the file to start the installation and click on 'Fix printing'.

Hope this helps! Let me know how it goes.
