Hi @WeeWillie44,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding the missing two-sided print option on your printer!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Try these steps:
Check Printer Settings
Ensure the printer settings are correctly configured for duplex printing.
Open Devices and Printers:
- Press Windows + X and select Settings.
- Go to Devices > Printers & Scanners.
- Select HP Smart Tank 7602 and click on Manage.
Printer Properties:
- Select Printing Preferences.
- Look for the two-sided (duplex) printing option and ensure it is enabled.
Update Printer Drivers
Updating the printer drivers can resolve many issues. Here’s how to ensure you have the latest drivers:
- Download and Install Drivers:
- Visit the HP Support Website.
- Search for your printer model (HP Smart Tank 7602) and download the latest drivers for Windows 11.
- Follow the installation instructions.
Enable Duplex Printing in Settings
If the duplex printing option is disabled or missing, you can enable it manually.
Control Panel:
- Open the Control Panel.
- Navigate to Devices and Printers.
Printer Preferences:
- Right-click on your printer and select Printer Preferences.
- Ensure that Print on both sides or Duplex Printing is checked.
Reset Printer Settings
Sometimes resetting the printer settings can help bring back the missing options.
Reset Printer:
- Turn off your printer and unplug it.
- Wait for a few minutes and then plug it back in and turn it on.
Re-add Printer:
- In Devices and Printers, remove your printer and re-add it.
Check Application Settings
Ensure the application you are printing from supports two-sided printing and the correct settings are applied.
- Print Setup:
- When printing from an application (e.g., Microsoft Word), go to File > Print.
- Under Printer Settings, look for the duplex printing option and ensure it is selected.
I hope this helps.
