I'm having trouble with my HP Envy 6055 printer. I've tried everything I found on Google, including a factory reset. The printer is connected to Wi-Fi, and the blue panel light is not blinking. My Wi-Fi is working fine, and there are no issues with it. I recently replaced the ink cartridges, so I know they're not the problem. I also checked the paper, and it's full. However, whenever I try to print, it keeps showing the message 'UNABLE TO PRINT.' I even tried printing a printer information report, but it won't print either. It's really frustrating. I'm not sure what else to do. Any help would be appreciated!

Hi @svtla1,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble with your HP Envy 6055 printer. When you encounter the "UNABLE TO PRINT" error, there could be several potential issues to consider. Let's go through some troubleshooting steps to help you resolve the problem.
Check for Paper Jams: Ensure there are no paper jams or obstructions inside the printer that might be causing the issue. Even a small piece of paper stuck in the printer can trigger error messages.
Restart the Printer: Sometimes, a simple restart can clear temporary glitches. Turn off your printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for a minute, and then plug it back in and turn it on.
Check Network Connection:
- Ensure that your printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your computer or mobile device.
- Verify that the Wi-Fi signal is strong and stable where the printer is located.
- Try restarting your Wi-Fi router to ensure a fresh connection.
Print a Network Configuration Page:
- You can print a network configuration page from your printer to check if it's properly connected to your Wi-Fi network. Refer to your printer's manual for specific instructions on how to do this.
Update Printer Firmware:
- Visit the HP support website and check if there are any firmware updates available for your HP Envy 6055 printer. Updating the firmware can sometimes resolve connectivity issues.
Check for Driver Updates:
- Make sure you have the latest printer drivers installed on your computer. Visit the HP website to download and install the latest drivers if needed.
Reset Network Settings:
- On your printer, you can try resetting the network settings to factory defaults. Refer to your printer's manual for instructions on how to do this.
Check for Error Codes: If the printer displays an error code or message on its control panel, take note of it. Error codes can provide valuable information about the issue.
Reinstall the Printer:
- If you're still experiencing problems, consider removing the printer from your computer and then reinstalling it. This can help refresh the connection.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
