UNABLE to find serial number on HP Deskjet 1110 Printer

Unable to find serial number on my HP Deskjet 1112 Printer.  I see the label on bottom of printer.  The phrase "Serial Number" doesn not appear.  The abbreviation "S/N" does not appear.  There is a number under the bar code:  "F5S20-80058" but HP Support says that is not a valid serial number. HELP!!
