USB connection not working for my HP Laser MFP 135w. When I plug in the USB cable into all my USB ports it doesn't give any prompt at all. On HP Smart with USB cable connected it still shows Printer offline. I just bought the Printer and the cable is new. Help.

Hi,

Let's try installing below Full Feature software , and check if you may see any difference then:

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/printers/MFP130/HP_Laser_MFP_131_133_135-138_Full_Software...

Also, how long is the used USB cable?

Is it directly connected to the computer? ensure it is not connected through any USB hub or extension.

Finally, if this is a desktop PC, please also ensure it is connected to a USB port at the back of your computer and not to its front USB port which may not be powered.

Please let me know how it goes

Shlomi
