HP LaserJet P2014 Printer

When I connect my 3 different Hp 2014 printers to my computer, I cannot connect to my device and the device manager says USB Printing Support could not be initialized.
I installed my operating system from scratch and installed Windows 10 22H2 -32 Bit. All updates have been made.

When I connect the same printers to different systems (Windows 10 -64 Bit), I can connect and print without any problems.

What would you suggest to solve the problem?

Hi @Bsekercioglu,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like there might be compatibility issues between the HP LaserJet P2014 printer and the 32-bit version of Windows 10 22H2 on your computer. Here are a few steps you can take to try to resolve the issue.

  • Check Compatibility: Confirm that the HP LaserJet P2014 printer is indeed compatible with Windows 10 32-bit. You can do this by visiting the HP website and checking the printer's specifications and supported operating systems.
  • Driver Installation: Make sure you have the correct and up-to-date drivers installed for the printer on your Windows 10 32-bit system. Sometimes, using older drivers or drivers not specifically designed for your operating system version can cause compatibility issues. You can download the drivers from the HP support website.
  • USB Port and Cable: Ensure that you are using a working USB cable and connecting the printer to a functional USB port on your computer. Faulty cables or ports can prevent proper communication between the printer and the computer.
  • USB Printing Support: Try reinstalling or updating the USB Printing Support driver on your Windows 10 32-bit system. You can do this through the Device Manager. Right-click on the USB Printing Support device, select "Update driver," and follow the on-screen instructions. If that doesn't work, you can try uninstalling the driver and then reconnecting the printer to let Windows reinstall the driver automatically.
  • Printer Settings: Check the printer's settings to ensure that it is set up correctly and that it is configured to work with your Windows 10 32-bit system. You can access the printer settings through the Control Panel or the printer's own control panel if it has one.
  • Compatibility Mode: You can try running the printer driver installer or the printer software in compatibility mode for an older version of Windows that is known to work with the printer. Right-click on the installer file, select "Properties," go to the "Compatibility" tab, and check the box that says "Run this program in compatibility mode for," then select an older version of Windows from the dropdown menu.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
