HI All

My faithful Laserjet 6mp has been running just fine on Win 11 (either connected directly to a USB port on teh machine or via a USB extension block) but I can only get it to work in Postscript mode - which is horrendously slow for graphics and runs out of memoery on some more complex documents.

So I want to revert to PCL as my default language.

 

I downloaded and installed the Universal PCL5 drive and it installed just fine.

But I cant connect it to the printer espeically when the printer is connected to the USB extension block

Ive tried setting the Port to one of the virtual printer ports (USB001 or USB002) but I just get Printer Off Line

What am I missing?
