When trying to login online, I'm redirected to the home page without error.
When trying to login on the HP Smart app, I get (Error Code: OW_500_OWSID00001) - contact HP support, without any way to do that.
I do not have any connectivity issues, or using a VPN.
Having needing to LOGIN to an account with being able to do so makes the printer completely useless.

Hi @Jaymi_alexa,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I apologize for the inconvenience you're experiencing with your HP ENVY Pro 6475 All-In-One Printer and the HP Smart app. I can provide you with some troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve the problem:
- Ensure you have a stable internet connection: Make sure your device is connected to a reliable network, either Wi-Fi or mobile data, to access the HP Smart app.
- Clear app cache (for mobile devices): If you're using the HP Smart app on a mobile device, you can try clearing the app cache. Go to your device's settings, find the list of installed apps, locate the HP Smart app, and clear the cache.
- Update the HP Smart app: Check if there are any available updates for the HP Smart app in your device's app store (Google Play Store for Android devices or the App Store for iOS devices). Install any updates if available and try logging in again.
- Restart your device: Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve temporary issues. Restart your device and launch the HP Smart app again to see if the error persists.
- Reinstall the HP Smart app: If the problem continues, try uninstalling the HP Smart app from your device and reinstalling it from the respective app store. This can help to resolve any potential software glitches or conflicts.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
