HP ENVY 6055e All-in-One Printer
iOS

I have purchased a used ENVY 6055e. On the final steps, I received the error message UA_400_EB000U0410. I have followed the trouble shooting steps and attempted to restore factory default settings. However, during that process, "connection between browser and printer has been lost". I go back to the app to reconnect the printer, and then it says the printer cannot be found. Screen shots attatched. IMG_1985.PNGIMG_1986.PNGIMG_1987.PNGIMG_1988.PNG

Hi @Tiffany219,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

Thanks for sharing the screenshots. Based on the error code UA_400_EB000U0410 and the behavior you're describing with your HP ENVY 6055e All-in-One Printer, let’s try the steps shared below and let me know if this helps:

1. Reset the Printer to Factory Defaults

Since your previous attempt was interrupted:

  • On the printer control panel, press and hold the Wireless and Cancel buttons together for 5 seconds until the power light blinks.
  • This will reset network settings and restore factory defaults.

2. Reboot Your Devices

  • Restart your iPhone or iPad
  • Unplug the printer for 30 seconds, then plug it back in

3. Forget and Reconnect to Wi-Fi

  • On your iOS device, go to Wi-Fi settings
  • Forget the printer’s Wi-Fi Direct or set up a network
  • Reconnect to your home Wi-Fi

4. Use the HP Smart App to Re-Add the Printer

  • Open the HP Smart app
  • Tap “+” to add a new printer
  • Follow the on-screen steps to connect the printer to Wi-Fi and complete the setup

5. Check HP Account and HP+ Activation

  • Log in to your HP Smart account
  • Make sure the printer is listed and not stuck in a pending or error state
  • If needed, remove the printer and re-add it

I hope this helps.

Take care, and have an amazing day!

Hi! I am having difficulty hitting the wireless and cancel button. The printer is stuck on flashing error. Hitting the cancel button on the control panel and the Wireless but on the back of the printer does absolutely nothing.
