Trying to install Readiris Pro 14 that came with HP Easy Start, but the activation code does not populate automatically like it should. I downloaded the driver by selecting the correct product on the HP site, tried uninstalling and reinstalling the driver, uninstalling and reinstalling Readiris, made sure the scanner is connected and working, still no luck.
I run Mac OS 10.14.2. The latest Easy Start download was Feb 5, 2019.
Any help appreciated!

Try the HP Readiris 15 available here, please make sure that you remove any older Readiris Pro installed on your Mac before you start the new software installation.

Thanks for the link, Senan6806.
I removed the Readiris Pro 14 before installing the 15, made sure my scanner is connected and on before installing, but it's still asking for the activation code 😞
Any other suggestions?

Hi,
Only IRIS Pro 14 would be applicable for the M277 printer as described below, any other version will not activate with your scanner:

Is this the only computer? you are provided with a single license only, if you may installed IRIS Pro on another computer the license will only apply for the first computer and won't activate for an additional one
Assuming you haven't used your license on any other computer please uninstall any IRIS Pro from your mac.
Next. open HP Easy Start and select HP Uninstaller within the HP Easy Start menu (if it is grayed out accept the terms and it should then become available.
Once the uninstall completes click Setup a New Device and follow the steps to reinstall the HP Essential Software and HP Easy Scan again, then reinstall IRIS Pro 14 and check for any difference.

Hi Schlomi,
I originally installed the Readiris Pro 14 and it didn't work despite uninstalling (via Easy Start) & reinstalling HP driver. I had tried this process at least 3 times with no success.
And no, this is the first time I've installed it so it hasn't been used on another device.
For the sake of trying, I just uninstalled (via Easy Start like you have suggested) and reinstalled again, and then reinstalled the Readiris Pro 14, and it still does not work. I repeated this process twice today and ensured the scanner is working and connected. It's still asking me for the code. 😞
I'm at a loss!

Ok,
I believe this happens due to incompatibility with Mojave, I can see that IRIS Pro 14 is supported on 10.12 or earlier versions:

Also on HP support, it is only available for download for earlier OS versions and not for the latest ones.
Will verify this and will let you know later, but I highly suspect this is the reason it is not being activated.
