Hi @RonHum,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I understand your HP printer is unable to connect to Wi-Fi and reports that the wireless radio is turned off. Let’s go through a few steps to check what could be causing this and how to turn it back on.

Power cycle the printer
Turn the printer off and unplug the power cord from the rear.
Wait 60 seconds, then plug it back in and turn the printer on.

Turn wireless on from the printer control panel
On the printer, look for a Wireless button (📶 icon) or Settings / Network menu.
Make sure Wireless is set to On and the blue wireless light is solid or blinking.

Use the Wireless button reset (common fix)
Press and hold the Wireless (📶) button for 5 seconds.
This turns the wireless radio back on and resets the Wi-Fi connection.

Restore network settings on the printer
From the printer menu, select Restore Network Settings or Reset Network.
This clears old or corrupted Wi-Fi settings that can disable the radio.

Run Wireless Setup mode
After resetting the network, the wireless light should blink blue.
This means the printer is ready to be connected to Wi-Fi again.

Reconnect using the HP app
Install and open the HP app on your computer or phone.
Choose Set up a new printer and follow the on-screen steps to reconnect to Wi-Fi.

Check router compatibility
Ensure the Wi-Fi network is 2.4 GHz (many HP printers do not support 5 GHz only).
If needed, temporarily move the printer closer to the router during setup.

Confirm wireless is not disabled by button combination
Some models require pressing Cancel (X) + Wireless (📶) together for 5 seconds.
This forces the wireless radio back on if it was disabled.

Verify printer status after setup
Once connected, the wireless light should be solid blue.
Print a network or wireless test report if available to confirm connection.

I hope this helps.
