MFP 479fdw - HP_Color_LJ_Pro_MFP_M477-PCL_6_v3_Full_Soln_19137.exe downloaded 5/5/2020

Collate is defaulted ON when multiple copies specified.
No copies print with collate ON. Collate can only be turned off, manually on the print screen. Copies then print.

Settings, Printer, Manage, Printer Preferences, Advanced, shows Collate ON, but shaded (Setting cannot be globally changed.)

Multiple users down to JR high grandchildren. It has become a real inconvenience to turn off COLLATE inside of each print job.

When I checked the queue it was empty.

"Nothing can go wrong, wrong, wrong!"  Any ideas?

My best recommendation would be to download and install the HP Universal Print Driver.

Hands down better than any of the discrete (model specific) drivers out there.
