Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I'm Unable to download OfficeJet Pro 8715 printer software.  The following error is displayed:

 

Not Found

 

The requested URL /pub/softlib/software13/printers/OJ871/OJ8710_Full_WebPack_40.11.1148.exe was not found on this server.

 

Is there an alternate location where this software for this fairly recent printer can be obtained?

That seems to be as a result of a software update for your printer.

 

You may download its software from below ftp link:

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/printers/OJ871/OJ8710_Full_WebPack_40.12.1161.exe

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Forums.

 

Can you try using the CD that came with the printer?  (assuming that the PC got a CD Rom)

 

The download site seems to be down. Have escalated to the moderator.

 

Alternatively, go to Windows Store and download the HP Smart software for use.

I prefer to wait for the download to become available as the device was purchased by a friend about a year ago, so if there is a CD in the box the software included would be out of date.   Also, I'd rather not waste travel time attempting an install with out of date software and then end up with issues necessitating another visit, but thanks for your response.
