HP OfficeJet Pro 9010 All-in-One Printer

I'm trying to sort out why i cant scan to my computer from the front panel any more - only works from the PC app.  I did a factory reset and reloaded all the hp drivers.  The printing works but I cant scan at all now - scan software says the printer isnt connected.  I see many of the options in the front panel menus are greyed out including the one to restore/factory reset.  It also asks for a password when I run the HP doctor but I didnt set a password.   I have also tried pulling out the power cord with the printer on, waitng 60 seconds and reconnecting - no change.

A bit of googling and I found my answer.  For those with the same issue, go to the home screen on the printer then press 4 times in the bottom left corner where the 'back' arrow would normally be.  You should get a screen with the title "Support Menu" and in there you will find a Resets page and the ability to do a full reset.
