Hi,

I'm Unable to install HP Ink Tank 115 Printer Driver on Mac OS 15.5. HP Easy Start app can not download drivers automatically. Also, I could not find the drivers on support website.

Hi @Paryadac,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding installing the HP Ink Tank 115 printer driver!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

HP Easy Start Troubleshooting:

  • Ensure you have the latest version of the HP Easy Start application installed. You can download it from the HP Support website if you don't have it.
  • Make sure that the Easy Start app is fully updated and that your Mac is connected to the internet during setup.

Manual Download and Installation:

  • If the drivers are not downloaded automatically, visit the HP website directly to see if there are any updated driver packages specifically for macOS. Look for documentation related to your specific printer model.
  • If no dedicated drivers are available, check for an available generic HP driver for macOS that supports your printer.

Use Built-in Mac Drivers:

  • macOS often includes generic printer drivers that automatically work with HP printers. Try adding the printer through System Preferences > Printers & Scanners > Add Printer and check if your printer is detected and available.
  • Ensure your printer is connected to your Mac either via USB or network connection (if applicable) and turned on during this process.

Update macOS:

  • Confirm that your Mac's operating system is fully updated. Sometimes updates include improved printer driver support.

Check for Compatibility:

  • Verify if there might be compatibility issues between your macOS version and the printer drivers. If the HP support site does not offer drivers for your specific OS version, there might be limitations in support for macOS 15.5.

I hope this helps.
