I am trying to install the HP Smart app on my new Mac mini 2 Pro, and I'm just getting an endless spinning blue circle with the message "Find the open browser window, then sign into your HP account." However, I AM signed into my HP account, and I know HP can recognize that because it is finding my exact printer (serial number, etc.). I am running Mac OS Ventura 13.3.1. (Photos below -- I have blocked out the serial number for privacy purposes, but it is there)Screenshot 2023-04-27 at 4.04.04 PM.png

Hi @LynnieBH,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

There could be several reasons why you are unable to install HP Smart on your new Mac Mini Pro 2. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try.

  • Make sure your Mac Mini Pro 2 is running on the latest version of macOS. HP Smart may require a certain version of the operating system to work properly.
  • Check if your internet connection is stable and strong. A weak internet connection can cause the download and installation process to fail.
  • Disable any firewall or antivirus software temporarily. These security programs can sometimes block the installation process.
  • Download the HP Smart installer from the official HP website. Make sure that you are downloading the correct version for your Mac Mini Pro 2.
  • Once the installer has finished downloading, try running it as an administrator. To do this, right-click on the installer and select "Run as Administrator" from the drop-down menu.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
