Product: Officejet 4630
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I had to reinstall the printer software for my Officejet 4630 network printer.  I kept getting the error “unable to install software” during each attempt.  The solutions suggested in this forum or in the support section were all just “placebo” suggestions.  None worked.

Finally I installed the software in Windows 7 / Windows 8 compatibility mode.  Software installed with no issues.

In short, it would be nice for HP to note this as one of the issues or update the software download program to work with Windows 10.
