I am using an HP Probook 650 G2 and my operating system is Windows 10 64 bit ver 20H2
I have tried multiple times to install the latest Full Feature software on my OfficeJet Pro 6835, but it crashes at the end. I have used Print and Scan doctor, SMART, Support Assistant, Printer Assistant and Windows trouble shooter, but i am still missing the necessary software and drivers to scan. I get the following message:
and when I look at it I see this:
When I run Print and Scan doctor it tells me to reinstall the software. I have followed the steps in the forum to completely uninstall the printer, the drivers and clear the printer spool. Every time I try to install the printer, though, I get the following:
I have updated the firmware, and even though the basic software is installed, I cannot get the scanner to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
Can you perform a color copy from the printer front panel or may you see a Scanner Failure error?
Please follow below guidelines and let me know the results, a such would likely occur due to an hardware failure and not due to any software problem:
