Unable to re-install HP Laser Jet 1020

My HP 1020 is a workhorse I don't want to part with. A few years ago, when installing on a Win 11 laptop, I had trouble installing it, but managed after long hours of frustration and got a driver that worked. This year, I think I lost that driver after having been away from home from 3 months. A Windows update probably wiped it when I was away from home. Can you help troubleshoot this install? I've tried everything. Tried all the ports....local printer.

The laptop responds when the printer is turned on and off, but does not communicate.
