I just was given an HP Envy 6055e and I get all the way through the set up and then I receive a message saying Unable to register this printer to your account. I’ve tried every resolution listed on the website and still no luck.

If you encounter an "Unable to register the printer to your account" error during the setup of your HP Envy 6055e printer, follow these steps to resolve the issue:
Check Printer Readiness for Setup
- Remove All Packing Materials:
- Ensure all packing materials and tape have been removed from inside the printer.
- Open the cartridge access door and the paper tray to check for any remaining materials.
Restart the Printer:
- Turn off the printer and then turn it on again to reset its state.
Try Registering Again:
- Return to the HP Smart app and attempt the setup process again.
Restore Printer Factory Defaults
- Using HP Smart App or Printer EWS:
- HP Smart App: Click the image of your printer to open settings, then click "Advanced Settings".
- Printer EWS: Open the Embedded Web Server (EWS) using the printer's IP address.
- Restore Default Settings:
- Navigate to the Settings tab and select "Restore Factory Defaults".
- Confirm restoration. For HP LaserJet printers, click "Service", then "Restore defaults".
