I followed the procedures to remove my HP drivers from "Print Server Properties" but system will not remove the driver saying, "Unable to remove HP ENVY 4520 series, x64, Type 3 - User Mode driver. The specified printer driver is currently in use."
Other installed printer drivers are:
Microsoft enhanced Point and Print compatibility driver x64 Type 3 - User Mode
Microsoft enhanced Point and Print compatibility driver x86 Type 3 - User Mode
Microsoft IPP Class Driver x64 Type 4 - User Mode
Microsoft Print to PDF x64 Type 4 - User Mode
Microsoft Software Printer Driver x64 Type 4 - User Mode
Send to Microsoft OneNote 2010 Driver x64 Type 3 - User Mode
I have also opened Notepad and clicked File - Print.
I cannot see the HP Envy 4522 printer listed so cannot select it and delete. All I can see is:
Fax
Microsoft Print to PDF
Microsoft XPS Document Write
OneNote for Windows 10
Send to OneNote 2010
Is anyone able to assist me please.

- In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose ‘Delete’ or ‘Remove Device’
- Open up the run command with the “Windows key + R” key combo.
- Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”)
- Click on the “Drivers” tab
- Look for an HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom
- Select Ok
- Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows
