Unable to reset a EWS password for Officejet pro 8730

Dear Team,

I forgotten the EWS admin password which is provided earlier. please help me to reset a EWS password for Officejet pro 8730

In a other solved Ticket there is written, that the steps to perform a semi-full reset is confidential.

Can you please send me this steps so unlock my OfficeJet 8730 to?

Hi Manfred,

Launch the printer dashboard by swiping your finger from the top to the bottom of the screen and then tap the Setup (gear) icon.

Select Printer Maintenance.

Select Restore.

Select Restore Factory Defaults and confirm, the printer will restart.

Any network settings and any configured password will be removed.

thanks for the fast response.

But I'm sorry, it doesen't work.

In other Tickets before they did it at the same way without success. 

After Restore, there ist no "Restore Factory Defaults"

There's only the parts to restore to. For example Networt Setting, Fax and so on...

So I take all of them. Without success.

Hi,

After selecting Printer Maintenance and then selecting Restore, you should then see Restore Settings and Restore Factory Defaults, from there you should click Restore Factory Defaults.

From your description, I assume you may have click Restore Settings instead? there you should see different options to restore Fax, Network, etc..

sorry about the late response, 2nd Job...

After selecting Printer Maintenance and selecting Restore, I haven't Restore Factory Defaults.

Only "Copy", "Scan", "Fax", "Photo" and "Network". That's all.

By Selecting all of them and restore them, I have no success 😞

Any Ideas?
