Unable to reset a EWS password for Officejet pro 8730

Hi folks - 

I changed the password for the EWS for my HP OfficeJet Pro 8730.  Unfortunately, the new password does not work.  I am unable to reset EWS to factory default.  I followed all the steps outlined in a thread from 10-Apr 2018 - 25-Apr 2018.  Guidance in that thread says that a "semi-full reset" is required BUT THE STEPS TO EXECUTE THAT ARE CONFIDENTIAL.

Please send me whatever instructions are necessary to re-install the EWS and reset the password.  Thanks for your help.
