HP DeskJet 3750 All-in-One Printer
macOS 12.0 Monterey

I moved from Switzerland to India. Tried using cartridge no 803 in India as that was mentioned as the alternative to cartridge no 304 that was used in Switzerland. However, I am unable to change the country settings as India is not listed in the settings page. I am unable to contact HP support over phone as the printer is out of warranty. Please share the country reset instructions.

Hi @Dp106,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you're having trouble resetting the country settings on your HP printer, you can try the following steps.

  1. Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  2. Wait for at least 60 seconds and then plug the printer back in.
  3. Turn on the printer and wait for it to initialize.
  4. Press and hold the "Cancel" button on the printer for about 10 seconds.
  5. Release the "Cancel" button and wait for the printer to print a configuration page.
  6. Look for the "Default Gateway" IP address on the configuration page and enter it into your web browser's address bar.
  7. This will take you to the printer's embedded web server.
  8. Click on the "Settings" tab, and then click on "Security" in the left-hand menu.
  9. Enter the administrator username and password (if prompted).
  10. Scroll down to the "Device Security" section and click on "Advanced Settings".
  11. Under the "Advanced Settings" section, click on "Reset Security Settings".
  12. Follow the on-screen instructions to reset the security settings and restart the printer.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.

Hi Alden4

Though I can access the Security tab under Settings, there is no option for ´Device Security´. Tried performing a full factory reset, but that does not seem to solve the problem as well.
