All of a sudden, I am unable to scan using the Twain driver that I had successfully installed a year ago. For my HP 8028. I get the message unable to find the HP 8020 Series Printer. Of course none of the HP auto support apps care about this problem. Don't tell me I have uninstall and reinstall the Complete driver package for the 4th or 5th time. Just tell me how update driver for the printer. I have enough trouble getting this printer to work with our two computers on our LAN.

There is no update package listed on support.hp.com which suggests that there is no "update" package. You could try to use the HP Universal scanning software package as an option. This particular model is not listed as supported but I have had good success with it.
