I am having trouble enabling the borderless selection on my printer through a scan app on windows.  The message says, "Borderless printing was changed from On because of a conflict with another printer setting."  Please help lol.

Before I can guide you properly, I’ll need to gather a few details to understand the exact situation. 

 

Could you please share the printer model you’re using? (For example: HP ENVY, HP OfficeJet, HP Smart Tank, etc.)

 

Which app/software are you trying to print from? You mentioned a “scan app on Windows” — do you mean HP Smart, Windows Fax & Scan, or another program?

 

What is the paper size you have selected for printing? (e.g., A4, Letter, 4x6 photo paper).

 

Which paper type/media setting is currently selected in the print dialog? Some paper types do not support borderless printing.

 

Did you install the full-feature printer software/driver package from HP, or are you using the built-in Windows drivers?

 

Has borderless printing worked on this printer before, or is this the first time you are trying to enable it?

 

Once I have these details, I’ll be able to pinpoint why the option is grayed out and walk you through enabling borderless printing.
