@Neraji, Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding the HP device.

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution. We hope our assistance has been helpful!

If you're having trouble updating the firmware on your HP device, here are some steps you can follow to resolve the issue:

  1. Ensure Compatibility: Double-check that the firmware update is compatible with your specific HP model. Visit the HP Support Website and enter your device model to find the correct firmware.

  2. Stable Internet Connection: Make sure your device is connected to a stable and reliable internet connection during the update process.

  3. Power Supply: Ensure your device is connected to a power source during the update to prevent any interruptions caused by power loss.

  4. Temporary Disable Antivirus: Sometimes, antivirus software can interfere with firmware updates. Temporarily disable any antivirus or firewall software during the update process.

  5. Use HP Support Assistant: This tool can help find and install firmware updates automatically. Ensure HP Support Assistant is installed and up to date on your device.

  6. Check for Errors: If an error message appears during the update, take note of it. Sometimes, specific codes or messages will offer clues about what went wrong.

  7. Clear Temporary Files: Excessive temporary files can interfere with the update. Use the Disk Cleanup utility to clear unnecessary files.

  8. Manual Update: If the automatic update fails, try downloading the firmware update file manually from the HP website and follow the on-screen instructions to install it.

  9. Restart the Device: Simply restarting your computer can sometimes resolve issues with the system that might be blocking the update.

  10. Retry the Process: After checking all the above, attempt the firmware update process again.

I hope this helps!

Take care and have an amazing day!
