How do I make my LaserJet M254dw accept 3rd party cartridges, and print again ?

My LaserJet M254dw started displaying "Unauthorized supplies are installed" a week ago and is refusing to print. I do have 3rd party cartridges installed. A year ago I had a similar issue, which was resolved by downgrading the firmware to version 20200612 and disable auto-updating, Since then printing worked fine, until a week ago. I have verified that the firmware is still version 20200612.

Unfortunately, your printer installed a new firmware update. The new firmware update blocks 3rd party cartridges (must only use HP.)  You cant go back to the prior firmware,

HOWEVER: There is a workaround: YOU MUST SWITCH THE MICRO-CHIP from the Genuione HP Cartridge to the 3rd party cartridge.  WATCH THIS VIDEO ON HOW TO DO THIS:  https://www.amazon.com/vdp/223064c996eb43839302c99c203e4dbb
