I later found that at the end of the list, there is one called Uninstall Samsung Printer Software or something like this. If you "uninstall" that, it will uninstall Samsung software you choose.

Hi @MichelSamia,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

Thanks for sharing that, you're right, and that’s a helpful tip for others, too.

When the “Uninstall” option is greyed out for certain Samsung printer applications in Windows 11, it’s often because the software is bundled or managed through a central uninstaller. In this case, the entry labelled “Uninstall Samsung Printer Software” acts as a master uninstaller. Once you run it, it gives you the option to remove all related Samsung printer components, drivers, utilities, and services.

What You Can Do

  1. Scroll to the bottom of the app list in Settings > Apps > Installed Apps.
  2. Find “Uninstall Samsung Printer Software”.
  3. Click Uninstall. This will launch a wizard.
  4. Select the specific Samsung software you want to remove.

💡 This is common with older Samsung printer suites, especially those installed before HP acquired Samsung’s printer division.

After Uninstalling

If you're planning to reinstall or switch to HP drivers:

  • Use the HP Smart app for modern printer management.
  • Download the latest drivers from HP’s support site: 🔗 Official HP® Support

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
