I need information on uninstalling an old HP printer. (drivers, etc...)
I have bought a new HP printer but after installing of the new printer. It appears that the HP computer believes both printers are connected to the same IP port(based upon the HP tool doctor).
Looking to remove the old information from the system to resolve the conflict.
Thanks.

Knowing what printers you had would be useful.
First on your PC go to control panel>devices and printers, right click on the old printer and select delete from the drop down menu. As long as you do not have any queued jobs for that printer it will delete it.
Then go to control panel>programs and features
Uninstall any programs that reference the old printer.
If you happen to delete programs required by the new printer you will just need to reinstall.

I appreciate the response. Here is a view of what I am seeing...
The 7400 series is the old printer. The 7740 is the new printer notice it shows (Copy 1).
The reason I open the ticket was that not all of the 7400 series deleted. As with picture shows "fax" is still listed and will not delete.
In Microsoft Word, all parts of the 7400 series is still showing(fax and regular print with it believing items are in the queue).
Also it shows a 7740 without the (Copy 1).
How do I clear this up?
The new 7740 is only partially functioning with some apps.
