I uninstalled the printer using the HP Uninstall program, and when I boot or restart, I get this prompt that the dll file is missing.
I tried to find the Status Monitor for the printer in the Windows 10 Startup list, but didn't see it there.
Not sure where to find it. Do I need to go into the registry?

Something went wrong during the uninstall.
Run services from the windows search and when the Service app shows up look for that HP application and set it to disabled so it cannot try to run HPstatusBL
What I really recommend is to get rid of all the left overs.
Download the free version of Revo uninstaller. It is used by many OEM tech support departments.

Since it is the free version you cannot scan for leftovers directly. Re-run the installation for the printer then run Revo and have it uninstall. Be sure to select the scan option and put a check [x] in the box to delete the leftovers.
Lemme know if a problem.
[edit] You might be able to avoid re-install of that printer driver. See if Revo can find the printer driver first.

I tried to run Revo first, but I didn't find any HP software installed.
I downloaded the current software and installed it, then uninstalled it using Revo. Didn't work.
Then I went to Revo Tools and found the Status Monitor under Autorun Manager. Deleted it, and it isn't popping up any more.
THANKS!!
