I am having a really bad time getting my Macs to work in a reliable, stable, predictable way with my HP laser printer.
A few days ago I posted a long and detailed description of this problem and did not receive a single response. So I am going for the short version this time.
HP's own software says it can't find suitable software. And the most recent OSX that HP seems to know about is macOS12.0 (whereas we're currently up to 15..0.1).
So pissed off with HP I am on the verge of junking the whole printer (which is not that old and is very lightly used) and replacing it with another non-HP brand in the hope that other makes are more on top of the software than HP.
Can anyone help save my printer from the landfill?
Thanks.

Hi @Alastair_M
If you have the printer next to your Mac computer, it could be good to try to install using a USB cable just to check if by doing a USB connection makes something better.
1. Please download and install HP Printer drivers for MacOS from the next link:
2. And go to System Preferences > Printers then Add the printer.

This seems to be a known problem and not just HP.

use time machine to go back or wait for a fix by HP or Apple.
Thank you for using HP products and posting to the community.
