I keep getting messages when I boot up my MacBook Air with a 2020 M1 chip and currently running macOS Seqouia, that I need to contact HP to update the HP extension  in order to be compatible with future macOS updates. How do I update the HP extension on my MacBook Air

Step 1: Check for macOS Updates

Before updating the HP extension, ensure your macOS is up to date.

  1. Click on the Apple menu () in the top-left corner of your screen.
  2. Select System Settings or System Preferences.
  3. Go to Software Update and install any available updates.

Step 2: Uninstall Old HP Software

If you have outdated HP printer software, uninstall it to avoid conflicts.

  1. Open Finder.
  2. Go to Applications.
  3. Look for any HP-related software (e.g., HP Easy Start, HP Utility, etc.).
  4. Drag them to the Trash and empty it.

Step 3: Download the Latest HP Software

You need the most recent HP drivers and software to ensure compatibility.

  1. Visit the official HP support page: HP Customer Support.
  2. Enter your printer model, HP OfficeJet 3830, and select your operating system (macOS Sequoia).
  3. Download the recommended driver or HP Easy Start for your printer.

Step 4: Install HP Easy Start and Update the Extension

  1. Open the downloaded HP Easy Start file.
  2. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the necessary software and drivers.
  3. During the installation, HP Easy Start should update the HP extension.

Step 5: Allow HP Extension in macOS Settings

I have HP OfficeJet 3830.  I am not all that tech savvy so any detailed guidance in helping me update the Hp Extension on my MacBook Air (with a 2020 M1 chip) would be greatly appreciated.
