My hp officejet is guving an error message to update firmware.  How do I do this.  I need some help please asap.  Thank you!

It depends on your OS, since you didn't specified your OS here are instructions for WIN10

 

Go to link  https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/hp-officejet-pro-8020-all-in-one-printer-series/model/24208623 

on the bottom you have a firmware to download ( 65,9 MB) download firmware on your computer and run it.
