Hi @RanchSantaMarta,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

If you're looking for an Apple Silicon (M1, M2, M3, or later) version of HP Device Monitor Manager, HP does not provide a standalone native Apple Silicon update for this legacy component. As macOS continues to phase out Intel-based software, older HP Device Monitor Manager versions may display compatibility warnings or no longer function as expected.

Recommended Solution:

  1. Remove the legacy HP software:

    • Open Finder > Applications.

    • Open the HP or Hewlett-Packard folder and move it to the Trash.

  2. Remove the Device Monitor startup component:

    • In Finder, go to ~/Library/LaunchAgents.

    • Delete com.hp.devicemonitor.plist to prevent legacy Intel-related background prompts.

  3. Set up the printer using macOS native support.t

    • Go to Apple menu > System Settings > Printers & Scanners.

    • Remove the existing printer, then add it again.

    • When prompted, select AirPrint or Secure AirPrint in the Use menu. This allows macOS to use its native Apple Silicon-compatible printing and scanning support.

  4. Use the HP App

Expected Outcome

Your printer will use Apple's native printing framework and the latest HP software, eliminating dependence on the legacy Intel-based HP Device Monitor Manager.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a great day!
