Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I installed Windows 10 and it said that I couldn't use my HP Laserjet P1006.  Has that been fixed with a new driver? What about use on Windows 11

For those having trouble with DOT4_001 or PCL5** If DOT4_001 is not present, try selecting USB001 instead and continue with all other steps. For those having trouble with finding HP Laserjet 3055 PCL5, try using PCL6 instead. This video teaches you how to install the HP LaserJet 1010 printer ...

When I installed Windows 10 and it failed to recognize P1006, I reinstalled Windows 8.1.  If I try the recommendation, I will have to reinstall Windows 10 which is not available free under current provisions (I think).  If it again fails to recognize P1006, what do I do? The recommendation used a different printer.   I don't mind buying a copy of Windows 10 if I could be sure it would recognize P1006.  I have received negative reports on Windows 11.  Anyway Thanks for your post.
