Using my Deskjet 3050A with a Mac OS 11.1

Hello community, I cannot find a way to install my printer in the MacOS Big Sur 11.1. There is no driver available for this OS on your website. Is there any alternative to print using this printer with this OS? Thank you

Yes, there is no driver available on the HP support site for this model to work on macOS 11. However, this printer is AirPrint compatible.

Install the printer using the AirPrint driver.

Check for any software updates on MAC

Click the Apple icon > About This Mac > Software Update and install any available update.

1. Click the Apple menu, and then select System Preferences.
2. Depending on your operating system version, click Print & Fax, Print & Scan, or Printers & Scanners.
3. Click the name of your printer, click the Minus sign, and then delete this printer entries.
4. Click the Plus sign, and then click Add Printer or Scanner.
5. Click the Use or Print Using box, and then select AirPrint
6. Click Add to add the printer to the list.
7. Under 'kind', select 'Bonjour multifunction'
8. Try to print.
