Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding the Stuck Verifying Message on the HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 5075 after the firmware update!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

Disconnect and Restart:

  1. Press the power button to turn off the printer.
  2. Unplug the power cord from the back of the printer and from the wall outlet.
  3. Wait at least 60 seconds.
  4. Plug the power cord back into the printer and the wall outlet.
  5. Press the power button to turn on the printer.

Perform a Hard Reset:

  1. With the printer turned on, unplug the power cord from the printer and the wall outlet.
  2. Disconnect any USB cables connected to the printer.
  3. Wait for 2 minutes.
  4. Plug the power cord back into the printer and the wall outlet.
  5. Turn on the printer.

Update the Firmware Again:

  1. If the update process was interrupted or not completed correctly, reattempt to update the firmware.
  2. Go to the HP support website, find the latest firmware for your printer model, and follow the instructions to update.

Check for Mechanical Issues:

  1. Ensure that the cartridge access door is properly closed.
  2. Check for any obstructions or paper jams inside the printer.

I hope this helps.
