HP Int Tank 419
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi.

I have an HP 419 Wireless Ink tank printer. Initially, on first purchase, it worked fine. Then there was an issue with the ink spillage due to which the Motherboard of the printer was replaced with a new one.  Now after the replacement of the motherboard, the printer is not able to recognise my WIFI router, which is a new router but is able to recognise the old one. The new wifi router is a Dual-band router. It is recognising all the surrounding 2.4Ghz networks but no the one at my home. I also put the printer close to the router and tried, but to no avail.

I dunno what is the issue. If someone could help, it would be great.

If there are any changes to be made to the router settings to configure my connection, please let me know. Thank you.

Hi,

Please make sure your dual-band router is indeed configured to broadcast 2.4GHz WiFi too, and not only 5GHz which is not supported by the printer, please contact your router service provider for any assistant with its configuration.

Also, make sure the 2.4GHz uses the 6 or 11 WiFi channel.

Also, I suggest making sure your router broadcast a unique SSID for each band, and not the same SSID which may make it harder to identify any issue with the 2.4GHz broadcast, and may cause connectivity issues with the computer once connected too.
