Hello,

I've recently moved to a new home. I've tried to connect my printer with WLan/WiFi but I keep getting the message "connecting" on my screen.
I've tried different things:

  • Unplugging;
  • Reset WLan settings;
  • New connection;
  • WPS...

The printer does find the network but keeps connecting.

Yours sincerly,

Rob

Welcome to HP support community.

Restore the network defaults on the printer

Touch Setup menu on printer display> Network setup> Restore Defaults.

Update the printer firmware

Refer this HP document for the steps to update printer firmware:- Click here

Configure the Wireless network again

Setup menu> Network setup> Wireless setup wizard.

(Follow on-screen instructions to complete the wireless setup)

Let me know how it goes.

Try to move the printer closer to the WiFi router and check if the issue persists.

If the issue persists, I request you to talk to HP support.

They might have multiple options to help you with this.

1) Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/

2) Click on "Continue as guest".

3) Enter the serial of your device.

4) Select the country from the drop-down.

5) Click on "Show Options".

Fill the web-form. A case number and phone number will now populate for you.

To thank me for my efforts to help you, please mark my post as an accepted solution so that it benefits several others.

Cheers.
