Product: HP LaserJet Pro MFP479
Operating System: macOS 11.0 Big Sur

I just want to download the DMG or Pkg version of Mac OS 10.15 to 11.x Postscript driver for the MFP 479 and it is not on the HP support site ... HP only offers the HP Easy Start app and I am wanting this driver for MDM deployment. I can use the Generic Postscript driver but prefer not to. I've seen a few non-HP sites in my Google searches, but I prefer not to use them.

 

Anyone have an actual HP Support site link/URL to an actual OSX postscript driver for the M479? I may just try the M477 driver and see if it works. Thx

We have a tool to assist with this.  It allows system administrators to get the pkg files directly for remote and unassisted installs.

 

It's called HP Easy Admin.

 

Here is the documentation that covers downloading and using the tool.

While I may work for HP Inc, the views and opinions expressed here are my own.
