What is the warranty date for printer LaserJet Pro 4001DN?

Not clear what you mean by warranty date.

In terms of warranty here is a general description of how it works.

When a machine is manufactured, a default warranty period of typically 15 months is applied. This covers the standard 12 month warranty and an allowance of 3 months for shipping, processing at vendors warehouses, etc. If you purchase a printer, take it home and try to check the warranty, the  warranty period will reflect that warranty period. So if the printer happened to sit in a warehouse for a few months and you look up the warranty it might look like the printer only has a 6 month warranty. This is a common concern posted here. 

What happens is than after you have purchased the unit, you are supposed to register the product with HP. Doing that triggers an update to the warranty period to one year from your date of purchase.

I have seen some slow moving products that actually land in buyers hands with 0 warranty left on them but once registered, full warranty is applied.

I understand your response and thank you.  I was trying to determine a lifespan of this printer and if it would be worth it to purchase more or to purchase a different series.
