@couskae07, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Not all model HP Printers support watermark. Make sure you have Hp Full-featured drivers on the PC.

Click here to download the HP Full-featured driver.

Once downloaded, make sure to run the file to start the installation and follow the on-screen instructions.

Open the document you want to print.

  1. From the software program, select the Print option.

  2. Select the product, and then click the Properties or Preferences button.

  3. Click the Effects tab.

  4. Select a watermark from the Watermarks drop-down list.

Or, to add a new watermark to the list, click the Edit button. Specify the settings for the watermark, and then click the OK button.

  5. To print the watermark on the first page only, select the First page only check box. Otherwise, the watermark is printed on each page.

  6. Click the OK button to close the Document Properties dialog box. In the Print dialog box, click the OK button to print the job.

If this does not help, proceed to the next step.

Use an alternative driver which support watermark on printouts.

  1. Under Devices and Printers right click the Envy 7155 icon and select Printer Properties. From the Ports tab take a note of the checked port of the driver and close this dialog (you will need it later).
  2. Click on Add Printer, click on "The printer that I want isn't listed".
  3. Select a Local Port and press on Next.
  4. Select the same port as used by the driver and click on Next.
  5. Select HP from the Manufacturer list, select the HP Deskjet 6940 / 6980 and follow the Wizard to add the printer.

Within the Effects tab you may add a watermark.

Let me know how this goes.
