Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

We are trying to setup Webscan for an end user.  We have it enabled, but we also have the EWS locked down with an admin username and password.  When we go to the IP of the printer here: https://10.x.x.x/#hId-pgWebScan, the end user is prompted to login.

How can we setup a username and password for an end user to access this website to scan their documents?  We do not want to use a Windows or LDAP related account.

Thanks in advance.

Simple EWS security does not likely work the way you want.

If you have locked the printer using an EWS Security password,

(then)

EWS is locked to those who do not have that password.

Enabling an option does not preclude locking the EWS access with a printer password.
